Kakuo an aspiring motor racer, alongside his trusty mechanic Koen, was on their way towards the Finals of the Motorracing Championship when an inadvertent darkness came upon them that shrouded the world in Darkness. Following their subsequent descent into darkness, they awake only to tread upon a bizzare dark world, they learned that it was a world plagued by amorphous creatures of darkness known as Nightshades, with it's only bastions being Prismatics, monks that can manipulate the 7 Prisms of The 12 Lustrous Knights. And the two of them subsequently learning was the Avatars of The Twin Lustrous.
