The story revolves around the city of Güldor Jer, where its society is dealing with the advent of powerful beings with the mission of teaching humanity how to use their knowledge for good. These are the daanis, and the comic starts with Niberyn, a little half-breed girl, mix of daanis and human, who doesn't understand nor accept her place in the world; at least, not as the daanis intend it to be.
