It's been two months since the protagonist of our Story, Dism, was dethroned. Since that time, he and his stoic partner Ari have met many allies; The Star of Marvel: Pella, Lapse in Error: Errol N. Lapsus, The Philanderous Lotus Merc: Rei Cyrillus, and the Minx of Mystery: Miria. Dism and Ari's new allies share two goals: To capture the deadly "Red Calystegia," whose guile and charms confound them (but mostly just Dism), and to reclaim The Throne of Acceptance from Arch-Lord Archus, whose selfless wish-granting abilities via the Throne end up causing more harm than good. Machinations of Eden: Fragments is a spin-off of the main "Machination of Eden" series, which could not be completed due to financial troubles. It's an episodic Adventure-Romance Comedy that shows the personal adventures of the characters outside of the original stories canon.
