The story takes place after Return of the Jedi. In the original timeline, Anakin sacrifices himself to save Luke from Sidious, only appearing a few times later as a Force ghost. But in this fanfic, after his sacrifice, Anakin’s soul diverges into another world—more specifically, an alternate timeline—where he is reincarnated as a young man named Jacob Lewis, living in England around the year 1937. In this world, the Force still exists, but Anakin of this timeline had already died during Order 66. Palpatine (aka Darth Sidious) is still alive, having wiped out all the Jedi and conquered most of the galaxies. He made his way to Earth around 1933, right when fascism was rising in Germany. In fact, it was Palpatine himself who pulled the strings and laid the groundwork for fascism to rise—using it as a stepping stone to dominate Earth and nearby planets. Not only that, but Palpatine now commands a resurrected Sith Empire, having somehow brought back ancient Sith Lords from past eras using forbidden Sith sorcery. And here’s the twist: in this alternate timeline...
