Rickendy Cat Sunny, un jeune Runnimel au tempérament sarcastique mais abritant une force instable, est promu Ange, un titre honorifique de son village. Isolé malgré le soutien de son amie Aida, il voit son monde s’effondrer lorsque la secte Refectum, alliée aux Tartatiens, attaque son peuple pour exploiter leur energycribse et réveiller Kemelis, déesse du cataclysme. Lors de l’assaut, Rickendy perd Aida et survit grâce au sacrifice de sa sœur Genesie, capturée à sa place. Dévasté mais résolu, il se lance dans une quête désespérée pour la sauver, stopper Refectum… et empêcher la fin du monde.
