The main character, Yamato Yamamoto, lives on the outskirts of the city in a quiet home with his uncle—the last remaining family he has left. From him, Yamato is being trained in the family’s old profession: hunting Soul Eaters. As Yamato struggles to survive and hunt in this dangerous island filled with vampires, demons, and Soul Eaters, he is constantly pulled through conflict and uncertainty.
