Year 392 of the Galactic Era. Nevelone, the first extra-terrestrial planet conquered by Humanity, thus marking the beginning of this new era, is currently in the hands of Xavier Morel, fourth emperor of the Nevelians. Presenting the particularity of being in synchronous rotation around Proxima, its star, this planet is divided into 3 large geographical areas: Helios, constantly flooded with light in stifling heat, Artemis, plunged into an endless and icy night, and Aurora, enjoying an eternal dawn in spring temperatures. Sirius, a young member of a clandestine syndicate of delivery men in sector 4 of the Alvearium - the immense working-class city of Artemis - is entrusted with a mission which, without knowing it, will profoundly change the destiny of Nevelone.
