Aisha always believed the sky and nature were permanent and unchanging. One morning, however, she noticed that everything felt slightly different. The air was warmer than usual, the sky had a dull grey tint, and smoke from a bus stayed in the air for too long. People seemed used to these problems and no longer reacted to them. On her way to school, Aisha noticed many small signs of environmental decline: trees losing leaves, wasted water, plastic litter, and increasing dust. None of these changes were shocking alone, but together they showed that the environment was slowly getting worse every year. This realization made Aisha uncomfortable and worried.
