They just wanted a nice vacation, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Mom wanted to find her reason for smiling again.
Sometimes wishes are better left unsaid.
(Smile was one of my first ever published short stories and has a lot of flaws, but I think it's important to show those flaws as well.
I will always be grateful for this little creepy story for starting my manga career and I hope you all can appreciate her too, flaws and all.
I may publish more short stories with the characters again one day, but until then...
