Without warning, the Draevok descended upon AURETHAR, the shining capital of the Aetherion Empire.

The Eclipse Division, the greatest warriors in the Veyrion System, mobilized immediately. Lucerys Umbrael, Zevarion, Valero, and countless others threw themselves into battle, but against the primordial horror born from corruption itself, their strength proved meaningless.

One by one, the defenders fell.

As the capital burned and millions fled in terror, Emperor Altairis stepped forward alone.

For the first time in history, the Emperor unleashed his Nature Break: Thronebound.

Drawing strength from the loyalty of his people, Altairis overwhelmed the Draevok with power beyond imagination. The sky split. The city trembled. Hope returned.

But hope was short-lived.

In a cruel twist of fate, the very loyalty that empowered Altairis became his undoing. Distracted by the cries of a child amidst the devastation, the Emperor hesitated for a single moment.

The Draevok did not.

The ruler of the Aetherions fell.
