The story begins with John Adams briefing Takeda Shuren and the others about their enemy, The Knight. After being defeated by Krishna in the past, the Knight evolved his powers and unlocked Evolution, allowing him to adapt to virtually anything. He became so powerful that he defeated an army of 10,000 soldiers and earned the title King of Void. Today, he is considered one of the strongest beings alive, with only one known weakness: Takeda’s White Ink.
