For a fee of 5 million Credits or by winning a weekly lottery ticket, people have the opportunity to permanently relocate to the continent called "Anime Island." Once there, individuals are administered certain quantities of internal nanodroids, for regeneration and body care, granting immortality, and external nanodroids, for impact protection and durability. Furthermore, new arrivals are administered a new technology, "Affinity," which allows them to gain increasing experience and develop their powers based on a specific natural element. The stories of Liam Williamson and Kassandra Reed will intertwine and diverge throughout the story.
