Set in a near-future country called New Delra Foundation in the year 2025, humanity had lost almost 50% population in the world after the mysterious meteorite impact triggered the supernatural phenomenon called the Reverberance Day. Humanity has been eradicated by the monstrous creatures, known as the Reverberant, hunted by sound and wreaking havoc. The special warriors tasked to sterilise the Reverberants, known as Echo Strikers, possess the extrasensory abilities to protect humanity. Maka Okimura, an 18-year-old District Resident who selected the Echo Sterilisation Program to train the Echo Striker with his rival mentor, the late Sofia Matoba’s young brother, Arran Matoba.
