A fantasy short story set in a bygone time of legend. There are many legends of mythical water creatures in British folk lore. This story is inspired by the Comwy Afanc, the Loch Ness Monster, the Lambton Wyrms and Dragon of Mordiford and is a tale of a maiden who becomes a parent to an infant creature, Her father who remembers what it is to be a parent thanks to the lessons of his own daughter.
