The story starts with the protagonist in college studying the process of editing in their free time. While editing something she investigates what her peers are working on. She then takes some notes to use later. After studies she leaves the college to go home. This classmate tells Hinabi about a competition on who can make the best edit by any means necessary. She finds a mysteriuos note book. She makes a decision on competing in the competition or not.
