In the Arabian Peninsula there are relics with phenomenal cosmic powers. One of the most famous is the sword of Klatenets, which as the peculiarity of making its bearer invincible. It is kept in a sacred temple, trapped in a burning tree. Qassim is a young blacksmith and the apprentice of a temple gardien. He's one of the rare commoners who do not covet or even hate people far too attached to tradition. Unfortunately, the fate of Qassim will be closely linked to the sword, at the expense of many lives.
