In a world where every person over the age of twenty has vanished, a group of young survivors band together to navigate the dangerous and mutated landscape. They must also face the terrifying presence of Ghost Elements - spectral entities that materialise at night to hunt them down. Amid the constant battle for resources and the threat of these otherworldly beings, a half-Japanese, half-Bangladeshi protagonist finds love and romance with a fellow survivor. But when betrayal strikes and tragedy strikes, the protagonist is driven by a thirst for revenge that threatens to tear apart the fragile alliances that have formed. As they fight for their survival in a world that has been turned upside down, the young survivors must confront their deepest fears and rely on each other to make it through the darkest of nights.
