On the ancient ghats of Kashi, where the river whispers to the dead, a young temple boy named Shiv performs daily rites for wandering souls. His quiet devotion hides a strange gift — he can hear the echoes of spirits trapped between worlds. When a famine strikes and a preta, a hungry ghost, rises from the ashes of the cremation grounds, Shiv’s dormant power awakens. Guided by visions of Lord Shiva, he performs a forbidden purification ritual that lifts the curse haunting the river.
As the light returns to the ghats, Shiv realizes his destiny: to walk the thin line between life and death as the Preta‑Hara, the banisher of restless souls.
