In Midilgard, a millennia-old war pits the Morphers, capable of transforming into beasts, against the Deities, wielding divine artifacts.
Baal, a child raised by wolves, crosses paths with Azel, a Morpher, who takes him under his wing.
Everything changes the day he undergoes the ritual to become a Morpher himself. When he awakens, he discovers that the Horde, the dominant Morpher clan, has murdered Azel.
Baal's rage leads him to hunt them down for revenge, but the world he discovers will turn out to be very different from what he had imagined...
