The fully revised version of Chapter 1.
Upon a Star is a character-driven fantasy story set in a fictional universe shaped by quiet mystery and adventure. The cast discovers different planets and their ancient relic spirits - immortal beings that grant powers through binding pacts.
I created this story in reminiscence of the gentle and uplifting magical girl stories of the ’90s and early 2000s.
I’ve finally spent the time to rework this chapter with attention to detail and chose to keep the first chapter very slow-paced & lighthearted.
