Ethen is a boy who along with his friends dream of the world above but one day their tranquil days come to an abrupt stop. How much can someone do from behind bars and is there even a way to get out? How many more people like Ethen exist out there and how much of what they know of the above world is really true? A small cave under ground is only so much in the grand scheme after all. People may just be swallowing the information because it’s convenient or maybe the thought of any other option is too much. What is the best way to pull the veil of ignorance from someone’s eyes?
